Guiding Star Wakota relies on volunteers who assist with a number of different activities that are critical to its ongoing operation. Volunteer activities include:

• Sorting donated baby and maternity clothing

• Packing diapers for distribution to new mothers

• Doing interior and exterior maintenance on GSW’s new building

• Cleaning GSW’s new building

• Putting together mailings

• Working with GSW’s team at fundraising events

• Filling in wherever needed

Volunteering with Guiding Star Wakota is a gratifying way to serve others and help the organization fulfill its life-affirming mission. If you’re a high-school student, a retiree, or somewhere in between, we can use your help. Most volunteer opportunities are flexible on weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., If you’re interested in volunteering, please fill out the Volunteer Form.
